Ship your parcels for Christmas: what are the deadlines to remember?

To ensure timely delivery under the Christmas tree, we recommend prioritizing Happy-Post Express Delivery (handled by DHL Express from our platform). For shipments to the European Union, you can still use our Happy-Post Home Delivery With Tracking and Signature service; however, you need to drop off your parcels at a relay point before December 13, 2023, for Christmas delivery.

As we enter the Peak Period for parcel shipments from late November, covering Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Cyber Week, Christmas, and even winter sales, we anticipate a significant increase in parcel volumes. Whether you're an e-commerce seller or an individual, delivering your Christmas parcels on time is crucial. We provide guidance to ensure your parcels reach their destination under the tree on time. 🎄

What are the deadlines to deliver Christmas packages?

This is the big question: When do I have to send my package to be delivered in time for Christmas? 🎅 The answer is very simple: the more you anticipate, the more it will arrive in time under the tree. But one thing is for sure, you won’t have to wait until the last minute or a few days before December 24th to ship your Christmas gifts. E-merchants, sellers on Etsy, eBay store owners or Instagram ... don’t wait until the last minute to ship your orders.

It is also essential for you to deliver your Christmas packages in time to satisfy your customers. We offer you the list of dates recommended by our partners.
It’s up to you. With the estimated delivery times, you can best inform your customers or family about the delivery of Christmas parcels.

Tips for Successful Christmas Parcel Shipments:

  1. Packaging is crucial: To prevent breakage and ensure happy customers, follow guidelines such as wrapping items individually, securing items in the package, avoiding empty spaces, and securely sealing your box.

  2. Include proforma invoices: For parcels destined for non-EU countries or the Overseas Territories, detailed content information is required. In addition to your label, you'll have three Proforma invoice copies to add to your parcel.

  3. Anticipate customs fees: Shipments to the Greater International (outside the EU) or Overseas Territories are subject to customs fees and taxes. Check our information on customs fees to avoid surprises.

  4. Easily track your parcel: Use our tracking page with your Happy-Post parcel number (starting with 12) to follow your Christmas parcel's journey.

  5. Be cautious of prohibited items: Several objects are prohibited in international shipments according to international regulations. Familiarize yourself with the list of prohibited goods to avoid blockage and return of your Christmas parcels. 🍾
