Prohibited goods
When sending a parcel, do you know that certain products are banned or regulated? To ensure that your parcels are shipped to any place in the world smoothly, we share the rules with you when it comes to goods. Take the necessary precautions now to ensure that your parcels are not refused.
For safety reasons and because certain products are considered dangerous or present a serious risk when transported, there are restrictions to apply when sending your parcels in France or internationally. The main objective is to avoid any risk of damage to the integrity of people, property or the environment.
There are several lists of prohibited or restricted goods when shipping a parcel that depend on international regulations, country specific rules, or air travel.
Dangerous and prohibited goods
Below is a list of prohibited or regulated goods and products. Before sending your parcels internationally, to France or to the French overseas departments and territories, please check that they comply with the conditions and do not present any danger.
Dangerous goods
Certain goods are dangerous and strictly regulated or prohibited for transport (clean or inside another goods). Below is a non-exhaustive list of dangerous goods that are prohibited when sending a parcel:

Explosive materials and objects: fireworks, firecrackers, ammunition, distress flares

Compressed gases: propane cylinders, diving cylinders, aerosol cans, butane cartridges, fire extinguisher

Flammable liquids: lighters and their refills, oil paints, wood varnishes, solvent-based enamels, glues, perfumes and aftershaves, varnishes, solvents and nail gel

Flammable solids: matches, charcoal

Lithium batteries and cells: separate or not installed batteries, computers, batteries, hoverboard …

Oxidizing materials: swimming pool chemicals, hydrogen peroxides, bleaches

Toxic materials and infectious substances: pesticides, agricultural chemicals, mercury compounds, bacteria, viruses

Prohibited items
Happy-Post can carry many things, but certain items are expressly prohibited. You will find below the list, not exhaustive, in order to send a parcel serenely:

The risks
You are responsible for the content of the parcels you deliver to Happy-Post.
A parcel containing prohibited goods exposes you to various risks. Your parcel could be blocked, refused, destroyed or charged with an additional charge. In addition, if your parcel is blocked, you will have to pay costs to recover it, without the possibility of reimbursing you for the shipping costs already incurred. Finally, in the event of a dispute, no complaint will be admissible and you will not be able to claim compensation.
