COVID INFO: The health crisis is still disrupting the international transport of parcels, with delivery times that are sometimes even longer. The delivery times of parcels are not guaranteed for international destinations outside the European Union. 09/19/2022 - DISRUPTIONS ON YOUR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

  • UNITED KINGDOM

Due to preparations for the Queen's state funeral on 19/09, you may experience delays in the processing and delivery of your shipments in the London area, this week and next week until 20/09.

The UK Government has also confirmed that 19/09 will be a national public holiday. This public holiday will mark the last day of the period of national mourning.
 
  • BELGIUM

On 21/09 a national manifestation is planned, organized by the three unions. This manifestation might have an impact on the available resources in our Brussels warehouse (EMC). It may lead to delays in the processing of your shipments during this 24-hour period.
 
  • PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

The following non-European public holidays may lead to delays in the processing and delivery of your shipments:
  • 19/09: Japan - Respect for the Aged Day
  • 19/09: Canada - National day of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II
  • 22/09: Australia - National day of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II
  • 23/09: Japan - Autumnal Equinox Day
  • 23/09: Saudi Arabia - National Holiday
  • 30/09: Canada - National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
 
  • DELAYS

For non-Europe, we are experiencing delays for the following countries:

08/22/2022 - DISRUPTIONS ON YOUR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

  • JAPAN

Due to a lack of air capacity from our hub in Belgium, additional delivery delays are expected. Some parcels from the end of July may have suffered from additional delays due to this situation but are still on their way. Since the 15/08, the situation is improving little by little.
EDIT: additional delays of 1-2 weeks are expected until 01/09/2022. Delays should improve by early September. We apologize for the inconvenience.
 
  • UNITED KINGDOM

The designated operator of the United Kingdom, Royal Mail, informed us that postal workers have called four 24-hour strikes commencing at 00.01 UK time on 26 and 31 August and 8 and 9 September 2022. Thus, the delivery of parcels may be disrupted on these days.   • CHINA

We would like to inform you that our transit times to China are improving as our partners managed to increase air capacity in the past weeks. The situation at China Post, our last mile partner, is also improving, but processing time remains longer than usual.
Rest assured that we are following the situation closely and will do our utmost to limit the impact for your shipments.
 
  • DIFFICULTIES IN ASIA

We experience delays due to reduced air capacity, the ban on overflying Ukrainian and Russian airspace, and precautionary measures, forcing us to look for more complex alternative routes.  As a result, your shipments may experience delays to certain Asian countries, such as China, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam or Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.
 
  • RUSSIA & BELARUS

Our delivery services remain suspended to these destinations until further notice. If you have already shipped your parcels and they are with our partners, we will not be able to return them immediately. We will have to wait until the situation is unblocked.

 We inform you that a general strike of the transport sector in Italy has been announced by all relevant independent trade unions (Cobas) starting today in the afternoon (02/08/2022) and for tomorrow.

This situation will impact deliveries of Parcels all over the country.Thus, possible delays in delivery can be expected.
 
  • CHINA

05/25/2022 - DISRUPTIONS ON YOUR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

  • DIFFICULTIES IN THE USA

Due to a backlog in Customs Clearance in the Chicago Office of Exchange, delays up to 7 days are possible in the processing of your shipments. This only affects parcels that transit via Chicago.
  • CHINA

Several strict containment measures are currently in force in several cities or regions in China, notably Shanghai & Hong Kong. New measures to prevent the risk of contamination are also in application, mainly a 48-hour quarantine and disinfection of all packages (and contents). 

Our parcels are flown to Beijing or Guanzhou, from where they are transported by truck to the distribution sites in each city.

This means that very long delays in delivery are to be expected throughout the country (3 to 6 weeks).

In addition, no shipments can be delivered to postal codes beginning with 20.
 
  • DIFFICULTIES IN ASIA

We are experiencing delays due to reduced air capacity, forcing us to look for more complex alternative routes.  As a result, your shipments may experience delays to certain Asian countries, such as China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam. 
 
  • ITALY & SPAIN

In Italy and Spain, strikes are currently underway due to the increase in fuel prices. This situation and these blockades can temporarily prevent our transport partners from delivering your shipments. Therefore, delays are to be expected in these countries.
 
  • RUSSIA & BELARUS

Our delivery services remain suspended to these destinations until further notice. If you have already shipped your parcels and they are with our partners, we will not be able to return them immediately. We will have to wait until the situation is unblocked.
 
  • UKRAINE

03/15/2022 - DISRUPTIONS IN SPAIN

Since Monday 14 March 2022, an unlimited national strike of transporters has started in Spain. This situation directly impacts the processing and delivery of parcels throughout the country.

Our transport partners inform us that they are able to maintain delivery services for the time being, but that additional delays are to be expected.

Our teams are monitoring the situation on a daily basis. We will keep you informed of any developments.

REMINDER : In view of the current events in Ukraine, we would like to inform you that our teams are closely monitoring the situation and have taken measures to limit as much as possible the impact on our logistics services.
 
  • SUSPENSION OF DELIVERY SERVICES TO RUSSIA AND BELARUS

The EU Council decided today that all shipments to Russia and Belarus are blocked until further notice. We are suspending all shipments to RUSSIA as of today. If your parcel is already on its way, it will be kept in one of the logistic platforms until the reopening of the services.

In view of the current events in Ukraine, we would like to inform you that our teams are closely monitoring the situation and have taken measures to limit as much as possible the impact on our logistics services.

02/23/2022 - Geopolitical events Eastern Europe

  • UKRAINE

Due to the serious geopolitical events in Ukraine, we have decided to temporarily suspend our delivery services to this country. We are closely monitoring this situation and will resume our services as soon as possible.
 

  • RUSSIA

Our delivery services to Russia are still open. However, due to the situation, there may be interruptions in service and shipments may be delayed.
 

30/11/2021 - International news

  • JAPAN

Due to the resurgence of the Coronavirus, notably the omicron variant, Japan has decided to close its borders. Air traffic could be impacted, as well as the capacity for parcel shipments. Additional delays could be expected for the delivery of your parcels.
 

  • MARTINIQUE AND GUADELOUPE

The recent evolution of the situation in Martinique and Guadeloupe forces us to suspend deliveries to these destinations from Monday 29/11/2021. Only our Happy-Post Home Delivery with Tracking and Signature service is affected. The Premium Delivery service is still available but delays are to be expected.
 

29/11/2021 - Snowy episode France

Following the bad weather conditions which make the traffic difficult in many regions, the collections and deliveries with our partner Chronopost may be disrupted. Regions concerned are: Isère (38), Loire (42), Puy-de-Dôme (63), Rhône (69), Savoie (73) and Haute-Savoie (74). 

 

17/08/2021 - Additional delivery times to be expected

Dear clients,

The Covid 19 crisis continues to impact international deliveries and several countries are retaining or adding protective measures. Air traffic is still disrupted, which affects delivery times. Please find below our latest information regarding the delivery of your packages to the countries specified below:

  • Ireland: +1 week min.
  • Greece, Lebanon, India, Tunisia, Australia, South Korea, Turkey, Israel: +2 weeks min.
  • USA: allow +2 weeks minimum and more specifically to Chicago
  • Latin America: allow +2 weeks minimum due to the lack of regional flights
  • New Zealand: +3 weeks min.
  • China: New anti-Covid 19 measures are in place. Airlines have been forced to cut flights from Europe. Additional delays are to be expected, in particular to Beijing and Shanghai
 

04/03/2021 - Longer delivery times in Greece

Many delays are noted for deliveries in Greece. The Greek post office is experiencing distribution difficulties impacting all delivery times in the country. If you want a fast delivery, we prefer the Premium Home Delivery or Home Delivery by Chronopost.


10/02/2021 - Snowy episode France

Following the bad weather conditions which make the traffic difficult in many regions, the collections and deliveries of your parcels may be disrupted. For collections, the departments concerned are: 38, 73, 21, 25, 39, 70, 89, 90, 22, 29, 35, 56, 28, 41, 45, 10, 52, 54, 55, 57, 67, 68, 88, 77, 78, 91, 95, 14, 50, 61, 53, 72.
 

19/01/2021 - Delivery times not maintained

In this uncertain sanitary context with numerous reconfigurations and air capacities still impacted, we still cannot guarantee delivery times. That is why during this period, and until further notice, no refunds will be made for late delivery

The western and northeastern regions are affected by snowfalls making traffic conditions difficult. Delays are to be expected on the departments 14, 50, 61, 36, 41, 53, 61, 72, 57, 88 for the Chronopost collection.

    The current snowy weather in Europe may impact the collection or delivery times of your parcels in Spain and France.

  • Brexit - United Kingdom

    Following the new regulations and the numerous delays of the British customs services, additional delays are to be expected for parcels to the United Kingdom (from 1 to 3 working days minimum). You can also find all our Brexit information on our dedicated page.
