Due to the roads blocked on French territory in connection with the mobilization of farmers, our customers are likely to encounter delays in the delivery of parcels.

BELGIUM - LUXEMBOURG - NETHERLANDS

Heavy snowfall in Belgium, Luxembourg and in the south of the Netherlands. Delays of delivery of your parcels are expected as some roads might be closed for heavy trucks and some areas might be difficult to reach for delivery.


FRANCE

Due to heavy snowfall in France, there is a driving ban for trucks.
This driving ban has been in effect since 17-01-2024 00:00:00 and is already in place until 18-01-2024 for the following regions: postcodes 60 - 80 - 02 
As a result, our shipments have obviously been interrupted or disrupted for our  parcels to La Poste Lesquin, Douvrin and Roissy but also for Colis Privé and Colissimo.


UNITED KINGDOM

Heavy snow in some areas with yellow weather warnings in place in the north-west of England and Scotland, which means we will inevitably see delivery delays in these areas and some areas will be inaccessible.


GERMANY 

Strike: Farmers' organisations and logistics associations GDL are organizing strike actions this week, with the Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart areas severely affected. Should these strikes result in blocked roads, for example, we cannot rule out considerable disruptions and delays in delivery.

03/13/2023 - DISRUPTIONS ON YOUR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

  • BELGIUM

We would like to inform you that on the 10th of March a national strike will take place in all sectors in Belgium. The 24-hour strike will start on Thursday 09/03 at 22.00 CEST till Friday 10/03 - 22:00.

This industrial action will likely affect mainly mail and parcels deliveries in Belgium but could possibly also affect the processing and departure in our international hub. We will do our utmost to minimize the impact on our service.

  • GREECE

The Confederation of the Greek workers and the Association of the Civil Servants have announced a 24-hour strike on Thursday, the 16th of March.
Also, the air traffic controllers have announced their participation in the strike.
These actions will affect both international and domestic parcels & mail collection and delivery.

  • FRANCE

General and national strike across different sectors might result in delays of the delivery of mail and parcels.

  • TURKEY

Delays in the delivery of mail and parcels are expected in the affected areas following the earthquakes in early February.

Several strict containment measures are currently in force in several cities or regions in China, notably Shanghai & Hong Kong. New measures to prevent the risk of contamination are also in application, mainly a 48-hour quarantine and disinfection of all packages (and contents). 

Our parcels are flown to Beijing or Guanzhou, from where they are transported by truck to the distribution sites in each city.

This means that very long delays in delivery are to be expected throughout the country (3 to 6 weeks).

In addition, no shipments can be delivered to postal codes beginning with 20.

The Covid 19 crisis continues to impact international deliveries and several countries are retaining or adding protective measures. Air traffic is still disrupted, which affects delivery times. Please find below our latest information regarding the delivery of your packages to the countries specified below:

  • Ireland: +1 week min.
  • Greece, Lebanon, India, Tunisia, Australia, South Korea, Turkey, Israel: +2 weeks min.

Many delays are noted for deliveries in Greece. The Greek post office is experiencing distribution difficulties impacting all delivery times in the country. If you want a fast delivery, we prefer the Premium Home Delivery or Home Delivery by Chronopost.
